Baseball
Welcome to sportsdaddy.com! Thanks for visiting my page. It is safe to say that you are probably a sports fan, like myself, if you are on this site! Hopefully you will find this blog full of useful inspiration, whether it is about sports or being a dad! On sportsdaddy.com the sport of choice is, of course, baseball. Baseball and parenting are similar in that both require a whole lot of energy! Your thoughts, comments and opinions on either subject are more than welcome. The more we share ideas and suggestions, the more everybody benefits!
Baseball has thousands of fans in the United States, Japan, and Cuba but also internationally. In one form or another, baseball has been around for centuries. If you are new to the game, it is as simple to learn as Partypoker or Uno. Two teams of nine players take turns alternating between batting and defense. The aim is to score more runs than the other team by completing a circuit of four bases set in a diamond shape. The team on defense try to get the batters out by preventing their runs, and once three outs are recorded the teams switch places. It is a fast-paced game that requires speed and agility.
- What is it that you love about baseball?
- Do you have a favourite team or player?
- What are your earliest memories of baseball?
For some it might be watching games on television or weekly neighbourhood games, classic cheering songs or snacks that are associated with baseball. Peanuts or cracker jacks, anybody? If you have some classic baseball memorabilia such as a signed ball or a bat owned by a famous hitter we’d love to see a picture. Tell us your tips for tailgating, boast about your ballcard collection here on sportsdaddy.com. If you have some great photographs or links to share, the whole sportsdaddy.com readership will appreciate it. Thanks!
