Things sent to inbox: New gang tactics, infant car seats & unmarked police car danger! 0
Recently, I received some warning about gang tactics that are being used to lure innocent people into harms way. These items are forwarded to me by concerned citizens on social media who just want to keep their fellow human friends safe. The intentions are good, but the dire warnings often originate from internet hoaxes. Please read the following accounts sent to me and take them with a grain of salt.
Whenever I receive odd and unbelievable stories sent to me via email or social media sites, I always want to know if they are true. To that end, I always suggest that people check out SNOPES.COM to find out the real truth.

On this day MN Sports History: Chiefs Super Bowl win is Vikings First Loss 0
On this day in MN sports history, the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory in 1969 ruined the Minnesota Vikings first NFL Championship.
I don’t remember watching this game, as I was just 4 years old, but I have seen the NFL Films version several times and get upset every time. The Vikings were favored by 2 touchdowns before the game and for good reason. Read more…
Vikings Purple People Eater F-150 pick-up: Kensington Runestones mysterious for mid-life crisis? 1
A few years ago, I was contacted by a fellow Minnesota Vikings fan who thought he had discovered a team relic as precious as the Kensington Runestones.
The gentleman’s name was Ed from North Branch, Minnesota. He contacted me via email on the old Vikingstailgate.com website to let me know about a really cool story he uncovered after he acquired a purple Ford-150 from a junkyard.
At the time I was contacted in October of 2007, Ed and his wife had just purchased the truck, and were looking for clues as that would help determine it’s value.

Overprotective Parents? The destruction of daddy city sheds doubt 0
I don’t think I am capable of being one of the millions of overprotective parents in the United States.
Of course the sports mom might disagree, knowing that the last thing I would do is put my kid in harms way of any kind. I was thinking about all the times when I would tell my kid to NOT put his fingers in the blender when it was plugged in or to never stand to close to a bonfire because he could accidentally trip and fall in with the logs.
