Chuck Foreman Minnesota Vikings“Do it Chucky Baby!”

Those words were bellowed by my father in our rural home in South Dakota back in 1976, as # 44, the 2nd All-time leading rusher in Vikes history, motored down the sideline for a 60-yard run in the closing moments of the 1976 NFC Championship.

Chuck Foreman had the slickest spin move of all-time, Read more…

SKOL The Documentary, a review of the Minnesota Vikings 2010 season 0

SKOL The Documentary premiered on Thursday, May 19 at the Height’s Theater in Columbia Heights, MN.  There wasn’t any limos or red carpets, just plenty of purple clad fans wearing face paint and horns.

I supported the film from the minute I learned that Elizabeth Giorgi was documenting a story about Vikings fans. In my opinion, the perfect candidate is Glenn Caruso, the current head coach of the St. Thomas Tommies, former head coach of my Macalester Fighting Scots. Read on…
