I know, the Vikings were clubbed by the Bears 40-14, on Monday Night but that game was the most fun I have had at an NFL game in years. It was the first Vikings outdoor game played in the Minnesota snow and cold since 1981.
I was looking forward to this game as soon as the roof on the dome collapsed two-weeks ago. My secret hope was that the league and Vikings officials would move it to TCF Bank stadium, so we could see the game without a teflon roof covering it up from the elements. It was the best Christmas present a die hard Vikings fan could have. Read more…

It looks like most of the varsity tailgaters from our lot will be attending the game Friday Night. For those of wondering, we tailgate like the Vikings play in the preseason.
In other words, there is no official game plan for the evening. There will be no goalposts, no grilling, and we will most likely even be driving vehicles down town. It is our preseason too, and we like to try out new things.
We are all looking forward to hearing the starting QB introduced though.
