In February 2011, Major League baseball sent out casting call for an innovative new experience. It was called the Ultimate Dream Job. This is the sample blog post that was submitted by Marcus “Mookie” Anderson (intended to be published after opening day) along with a bio and video:
The look of that collectible magnet schedule you received on Opening Day is about to under go a facelift. The biggest storyline for the 2011 baseball season will be schedule speculation and changes to team alignment.
With a new collective bargaining agreement between Major League Baseball players and owners due in December 2011, there is already chatter about expanding the league’s number of playoff teams from 8 to 10. Read more…

Hi all, I won’t be attending, but thought I’d pass on an event for Training Camp that you might want to attend:
Minnesota Vikings Training Camp
A day of fun with Travis and Ryan at Vikings Training Camp
We will be meeting on August 12th @ 8:30am at the entrance of the Viking Village in Mankato. This is fan apprection day at Vkings training camp and practice starts at 9:00am-11:15am with the entire team signing autographs afterwards. We will then be meeting at the Tav on the Ave bar and grill in Mankato(1120 E. Madison Ave.) at 1:30pm-5:00pm for some fun and to raffle off some prizes. From there we will be heading back to the Twin Cities and meeting at 7pm at the 508 bar & restaurant(508 1st Ave) downtown Mpls near Target Center for the rest of the nights festivites. This will enable those who can’t make it to Mankato during the day to joins us for the fun in the evening. Ryan and I hope that everyone can make it for the whole day, but if you can’t, please come to the 508 that evening to join us for lots of fun. Pleas let us know asap if you can make it, as we need to get numbers to let the establishments know how many are coming. Hope to see you all there. Let the beginning of Football season commence. Skol Vikings !!!

As Francisco Liriano continued is live rehab on the mound in a 5-3 loss to the Florida Marlins on St. Patty’s Day ’08, Twins fans were told of many new special events, promotions and daily ticket offers for the 2008 season.

The Twins kick off their 2008 season at home on Monday, March 31 at 6:05 p.m. against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Presented by Target, the Home Opener will begin with the annual Breakfast on the Plaza starting at 6 a.m. followed by a noontime rally and special pregame festivities. In addition, the first 40,000 fans will receive a 2008 magnet schedule courtesy of Target.
