Tommy Mason Minnesota VikingsDid you know that Tommy Mason Minnesota Viking’s first ever draft pick from 1961, was a productive NFL All-Pro who married an Olympic gymnast and was later traded for the draft rights to a future NFL Hall of Famer?

It seems like I get at least one e-mail every week, from somebody who has found my Vikings DVD collection listed on Vikingstailgate.com. My collection of over 500 Vikings games and team highlight reels dates back to 1961. Read more…

Marketing Drugs, Markenacea- The pill to assist professionals cope 0

Posted on July 29, 2011 by Marcus "Mookie" Anderson

Marketing drugs should be easier to get. In my other job as professional social media, interactive strategist for a small Edina, MN based marketing company, we recently launched our first of many fun videos on You Tube.

In this one, our marketing team slapped  together a comical commercial for a drug called Markenacea. It is intended to show our fellow “brothers and sisters” in arms that we understand their stress. I did not have a hand in creating the video, but I have to admit, it’s a perfect way to some up many of the work day of events that I experience.

The daily job duties required for “Modern Day Mr. Mom”  are more memorable than any milestone, corporate goal or other achievement from any occupation that I have ever held.

On top of the list  is getting the extra time to spend with my very spirited 6-year old son. Just this morning,  I cashed in one of the six daddy coupons he created for my birthday 2-weeks ago. I took him up on the offer for “A walk to school with daddy on a nice day.” Read more…
