FROM ESPN
You wouldn’t believe how many interceptions Brett Favre threw online last season, and EA is counting every single one as they track online user data to help shape the direction of “Madden NFL 11.”
By Jon Robinson
Poor Brett threw over 7 million more interceptions online.
Think Brett Favre’s interception against the Saints was costly? That’s nothing compared to the 7,564,382 picks Favre threw in “Madden NFL 10.” How do I know the exact number of interceptions a polygonal quarterback threw in a video game? EA Sports revealed at Tuesday night’s Season Opener event in San Francisco that they have become the Big Brother of sports video game companies, tracking every move, every play call, and unfortunately for Favre, every interception that happens online (and have been since Madden NFL 2004). And with 76-percent of “Madden” users now connected (out of 6 million copies sold), Favre’s bad throws start to add up fast. To count all of these statistics, EA even has a dedicated team of employees tracking this user data and they are actually incorporating their findings to help gameplay designers shape the direction of “Madden NFL 11.”
And some of the findings are staggering…

For the 2010 season, Vikingstailgate.com has changed it’s format from website, to blog. What does this mean? Well, not much, other than the fact that it will now be easier to update and easier to maintain.
As time goes on, we will be adding all the content and features that you have been used to seeing. These will be migrated into the top “breadcrumb” on the site and will be stored as individual pages within the new format. Of course, that will take some work, so please be patient as we evolve this.
Thanks for coming back. 2010 promises to be a Super Year with even more organization.

Another Super Bowl is upon us on Feb. 7, and that means another halftime show. This year, the Who is bringing out all of their classic hits, but what about the past? Break out the beer and wings and watch as we countdown the ten most spectacular Super Bowl halftimes ever. No surprise to me that Billboard picked Prince as the #1 best of all-time

From a blog called Dvorak Uncensored:
Did you know that you can’t watch the Super Bowl on a TV screen larger than 55 inches? Yeah, it’s right there in the law.”[...]Could it be that some of those giant flat panel TV sets now finding their way into US living rooms are actually violating copyright law? Read More

My brother Just heard on the radio that the Vikes flew the ‘pants on the ground’ dude, General Larry Platt, to New Orleans and he will be on the Vikes sideline.
Also from OJ when hearing the news:
Saints on the ground, Saints on the ground, looking like fools cause the Vikes put ‘em down!!! Turf in your mouth helmet turned sideways thinking you could rule that looking like a fool. Walking around town with your heads hung down, WHO DAT?!?!?! Saints on the ground, Saints on the ground looking like a fool cause the VIKES PUT EM DOWN!
From American Idol Website:
General Larry Platt, a 62-year-old veteran from Georgia, has a song called Pants on the Ground (for people who won’t pull their pants up). He’s clearly out of the show’s age range, but the producers don’t want us to miss this. (And they shouldn’t. It turns out the General has a fascinating history that goes deep into the civil-rights movement.)
He’s hysterical, and Simon says, “I have a horrible feeling that song could be a hit.”
